Can You Make Money on Binance's Crypto Game? What We Know About Moonbix Bot

Hamsters are no longer trending, but new P2E projects keep popping up like mushrooms after rain. Now major crypto exchanges are joining the game — Binance, OKX, and ByBit have already launched their own products for a mass audience.

Today we're breaking down whether it's worth spending time on Binance's crypto game Moonbix. We'll analyze the available information and look at some tips to boost your in-game efficiency.

What do we know about Moonbix bot?

On September 17, Telegram channels started pushing a new "tap-to-earn" game allegedly from Binance. Bloggers linked to a terms page that did lead to the exchange's official website, but support agents were giving contradictory answers.

Binance eventually responded and confirmed the game is from their platform, but it had leaked ahead of the official announcement and users would need to wait for the release. As of September 26, Moonbix bot is already live, with no issues reported regarding point accrual.

The game mechanics are a nod to the legendary Gold Miner. Players need to collect as many gold balls as possible while avoiding mines. In a single round, it's quite realistic to earn up to 300 points.

The bot also features additional tasks that reward a few dozen points each. The biggest reward comes from linking your Telegram account to Binance, though that's entirely up to each user. You can also earn 10% of the points generated by referred friends, with a cap of 50,000 per referral.

In just one week, Moonbix bot reached 16 million users, but there's still no talk of crypto rewards. The privacy policy states that "game coins are in no way connected to fiat or virtual currency and are used solely as visual elements for gameplay purposes."

The announcements channel hints at an airdrop, but no details have been shared. Most likely, users will receive a minimal amount of BNB or other tokens based on certain criteria. The hype is running high right now, but with millions of players, you simply can't hand out even a few hundred dollars to everyone.

Notably, dozens of bots for boosting scores in Moonbix bot have already appeared online. Using them is extremely risky — most well-known crypto games have had anti-bot protection systems in place. Typically, developers disqualify cheaters from the drop with no option to appeal.

You could speculate endlessly about the profitability of Binance's crypto game, but how things actually unfold remains to be seen. For now, the sensible approach is to simply keep collecting points without fixating on any single product.
