What Is Google UAC
Google UAC is a segment of Google Ads focused on advertising mobile apps from Google Play, with a large pool of placements for promoting smartphone applications.
You might say: "Bro, why bother with apps when you can just run push or banner ads and not worry about it?" — and my answer is this: the key advantage of Google UAC over push and banner traffic is that UAC traffic is higher quality, more intent-driven, and, accordingly, better-paying.
What Do You Need to Work with Google UAC?
So, here are the tools and resources you'll need to get started:
- A Google account. For your first launch, you can use your own personal Google Ads account (that's what I did initially), but for scaling you'll need multiple accounts, so I recommend buying aged or rented accounts from sellers.
- An app from Google Play. This is straightforward — you can request an app from the CPA network you're running traffic to, or purchase your own. In practice, there's no significant difference between the two, except that if you decide to buy your own app, prices start at $150–200 and up. A CPA network, on the other hand, will provide one for free, and if the app gets banned, they'll replace it with a new one at no cost.
- An antidetect browser and proxies. I use Indigo, but any other will work just as well. An antidetect browser and proxies are necessary if you're using Google Ads accounts purchased from a seller. If you're working from your own personal account, or a friend's or family member's account, you won't need them.
- A bank card. Not much to explain here. The bank card is used to pay for ads inside your Google Ads account. One important note: a single bank card cannot be linked to more than two Google Ads accounts.
Getting Started
First, you need to create a Google Ads account. To do this, log in to your Google account and go to the section with all services, where you'll find Google Ads.

Next, you need to link a bank card to the account. To do this, click the "wrench" icon and go to the "Billing" menu under "Settings".

Select "Payment methods" and add your card.

Launching a Warm-Up Campaign
To prevent Google from banning the account for suspicious activity, you first need to "warm it up." This is done to build account trust. Use a Smart campaign for this — run it for 1–2 days with a budget of $10–20, targeting a trusted marketplace like Amazon.
Here's how the launch looks:
Go to the "Campaigns" section, click the "+" button, and select "New Campaign".

Then follow the steps shown in the screenshots:

Fill in random business information.

Paste the listing URL of any random seller from Amazon or another major marketplace.

Uncheck the checkbox and proceed.

We add a few keywords.

We select a random GEO for the campaign.

We select the recommended budget.

We review the ad and that’s it – the warm-up campaign is ready. We let it run for a couple of days.

Launching an Offer Campaign in Google UAC
First, you need to decide on the GEO. I chose Germany. In the familiar «Campaigns» menu, click «+» and select «New Campaign», then on the page that appears, choose «App promotion».

In the «Look up your app» field, enter the tail of the Google Play app link.

Next, we configure the campaign. Select the GEO, language, budget (I recommend starting with $20–50 and increasing it by 1.5–2x every day) and in the «Bidding» section, uncheck «Set a target cost per install». This is necessary to maximize the number of installs.

Next, we upload the creatives. They should be native and, ideally, match the visual style of the app. Creative examples:

After passing moderation, optimize the creatives and increase the daily budget by 1.5–2x every 24 hours. And success will follow.
This guide will be relevant not only for dating, but for any other vertical as well. For beginners, I recommend dating + smartlink, as it significantly cuts testing costs on your first campaigns.
So, set aside a few hundred dollars, find an affiliate network with a smartlink and apps ready for traffic (for this, we sincerely recommend our trusted friends at ClickDealer) and start running campaigns in the green.
