Not many people know this, but Twitter is quite lenient when it comes to 18+ content. The platform hosts not only erotica but also full uncensored videos on par with what you'd find on dedicated adult sites. This makes life significantly easier for anyone looking to generate adult traffic.

Twitter's media policy on sensitive content states that broadcasting 18+ content in high-visibility sections is prohibited. Profiles featuring adult content must use the appropriate content labels.

After clicking "Yes, view profile," access to the page is unlocked and all posts become visible. However, each individual post containing sensitive material is still hidden by default, requiring the user to confirm their choice again each time.

5. Scaling successful approaches. Once you find the ideal traffic generation scheme, it's worth putting all your resources into developing it further. 

We reviewed dozens of adult profiles on Twitter and found that webmasters use a wide range of tricks. In some cases, there's a mass upload of clips from porn sites to accounts less than 30 days old. There are also many verified profiles with Twitter Blue at $8 per month. The blue checkmark provides a slight boost to content ranking. 

Some posts rack up hundreds of thousands of views within just a few days. Spend even 30 minutes analyzing these profiles and it becomes clear that bot farms are behind those numbers. Webmasters pump up their main accounts using thousands of auxiliary ones, ultimately generating organic views.

Once organic traffic starts coming in, the next step is monetizing it effectively. In practice, dating converts best on Twitter. Traffic can be redirected to OnlyFans affiliate programs, dating offers, or used to build a subscriber base for periodic email campaigns.

Traffic Monetization Case Studies

There are virtually no publicly available case studies on earning from organic traffic on Twitter, so affiliates have to assess the profitability of this source based on their own experience. Either way, it involves costs that may not pay off.

We managed to find a few stories of working with Twitter, and they prove that the platform is a perfect fit for dating and adult. Traffic doesn't always deliver a high CR, but it does monetize.

326 Conversions on Stripcash

The author of this case study generates organic traffic from Twitter on an ongoing basis. He buys aged accounts, fills out profiles using a template, and mass-posts content designed to drive clicks to the profile. 

The affiliate notes that accounts typically don't last long. After 5–8 tweets, they can get shadowbanned and the algorithm will limit their reach. But there are exceptions, as shown in the screenshot below. 

The author points out that Twitter traffic is mediocre in quality. He ran traffic to Stripcash and didn't get a single deposit. Dating affiliate programs, however, did deliver profit — 13 conversions from 200 clicks (CR 6.28%) and $35. 

The affiliate also managed to attract 1,500 subscribers to Discord. Down the line, this audience can be monetized with dating offers — a solid addition to the revenue he's already earning from the affiliate program.

The second case study is based on a different organic traffic generation scheme. The affiliate created a network of accounts and liked all tweets under adult-related hashtags. On the bot profiles, he placed 2–3 videos from the main account. This helped generate organic views, engagement, and clicks to external resources.

The stats for 20 days are shown in the screenshot. The main profile gained +1,319 followers and 154,000 views — that's more than 15,000 user interactions with the account per day. A solid result for organic traffic. 

Everyone will draw their own conclusions, but there's little point in arguing against Twitter's strong potential as a traffic source for dating. The platform has a large base of adult, financially capable users who are interested in adult content — and that's an opportunity to monetize with offers.
