Google introduced Nano Banana 2 -- a new generation of image generation

Google synced an updated version of its popular model to generate images - Nano Banana 2, which comes from Gamini 3.1 Flash Image. The new model creates a much more realistic content compared to the previous model and will now be the main one in the Gamini extension for Fast, Thining and Pro modes.

Nano Banana 2 stores high-fidelity on Pro model but generates images faster. Users can create content with resolution from 512px to 4K in different aspect ratios. The model supports five characters at the same time and is able to map exactly 14 separate objects within one working process that allows you to create consecutive stories.

The note has become a standard model for all the Gemini app tools, as well as to create visual content in the Flow video editor. Nano Banana 2 searches are now used to generate results through Google Lens and AI Mode. Updates are already available in 141 countries on mobile devices and in a web version.
