Elon Musk Launches Grok Bot AI Agent Rental for $120 per Month
Elon Musk has launched Grok Bot — AI agents available for rent to handle work tasks. Each bot gets its own cloud computer and can operate around the clock, even when the user's own machine is switched off.
Grok Bot can independently browse websites and apps, work with CRMs, write code, search the web, and complete other tasks. A user can walk the agent through a process once, after which the bot will be able to repeat it autonomously.
Each agent runs on a dedicated cloud computer equipped with a browser, terminal, and file system. This allows it to keep executing tasks without requiring the user to stay connected. Multiple bots can also run simultaneously and distribute tasks among themselves.
Grok Bot is currently available in early beta. For teams, pricing starts at $120 per user per month. Individual users can access agents through higher-tier plans.
