Crypto Cards Set a Record: $759 Million Spent Through Them in July
In July, crypto card users spent a record $758.8 million. Transaction volume grew approximately 2.5x year-over-year. In total, nearly 9 million payments were made during the month, with an average purchase amount of around $86.
Dollar-denominated stablecoins were the most commonly used for payments. USDC accounted for approximately 58% of all spending, while USDT made up another 26%.
RedotPay remains the leader among card programs. In July, $395.1 million passed through its cards — more than half of the total monthly spending volume across all crypto cards.
