Privacy policy

Last updated: 05.07.26

This Privacy Policy describes what information palai.media (hereinafter — "Site", "we") collects when you use the Site and related channels (Telegram and other social media), and how we handle it.

1. What information we collect

1.1. Technical data and analytics (all visitors)

  • IP address (in anonymized/aggregated form, where provided by the analytics service settings), device and browser type, approximate geolocation (at country/city level), pages you visited, time spent on the site, referral source.
  • Cookies: technical (required for the site to function) and analytical (e.g., Google Analytics).

1.2. Job listing and resume submission form data

The Site has a section where users can submit a job listing or resume via a form (no registration or login required). Submitted applications go through moderation and are published only after editorial approval.

When filling out such a form, we may receive:

  • name, contact details (email, Telegram, phone — depending on the form fields);
  • information about experience, skills, desired position / job description, company name (for employers);
  • any other information the user voluntarily provides in the application text (including links to a portfolio or a resume file, if the form supports this).

Important: do not enter information in the form that is not necessary for reviewing the application (e.g., passport details, bank card data) — we do not request such information and are not responsible for its voluntary submission by the user.

We do not collect: payment data, passwords, sensitive personal data (health status, religious or political views) — and we do not request them in the job listing/resume form.

2. How we use the data

  • traffic and user behavior analysis to improve content;
  • technical maintenance and Site security;
  • aggregated, anonymized statistics for internal and promotional purposes (e.g., a media kit for partners), without identifying specific individuals;
  • review and moderation of job listing/resume submissions — an editor reviews the submitted application and decides whether to publish or reject it;
  • publication — if the application is approved, the information provided in it (excluding direct contact details, where the form separates these) is published in the relevant section of the Site in the public domain;
  • communication with the applicant — if needed to clarify application details or notify them of the moderation decision.

We do not sell personal data to third parties and do not use it for profiling purposes in order to make legally significant decisions about the user.

3. Cookies

We use cookies from analytics services (including Google Analytics or similar). You can:

  • manage cookies through your browser settings (block or delete them);
  • if a cookie settings banner is present on the Site — choose which categories of cookies to allow.

Disabling analytical cookies does not affect access to the Site's content.

4. Third-party services

For analytics, we may use third-party tools (e.g., Google Analytics). Such services process data in accordance with their own privacy policies:

  • Google Privacy Policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy

We do not control the privacy policies of CPA networks, affiliate programs, or advertisers whose sites the user visits by following links from our content. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of each third-party resource separately.

5. Data retention

  • Technical and analytical data is retained for the period defined by the settings of the relevant analytics service (typically governed by Google Analytics or a similar tool's settings).
  • Job listing/resume applications that did not pass moderation (rejected) are deleted within [30 days] of rejection.
  • Published applications are kept on the Site for the duration of the listing's relevance [30 days] or until the applicant requests removal, after which they are archived or deleted.
  • Users may request deletion or an update of their submitted application at any time — see Section 6.

6. User rights

Depending on your country of residence, you may have the right to:

  • find out whether your data is being processed and to what extent;
  • request deletion or restriction of the processing of anonymized technical data (within the technical capabilities of the analytics tools);
  • withdraw consent to the use of analytical cookies at any time via your browser settings.

To exercise these rights, please contact us using the details below.

7. Children

The service is not intended for individuals under the age of 18, in particular due to the nature of the content (gambling, betting, and related topics). We do not knowingly collect data from individuals under the age of 18.

8. Security

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect data processed through the Site from unauthorized access, loss, or disclosure. That said, no method of data transmission over the internet is completely secure.

9. Changes to the Policy

We may update this Policy, including when the Site's functionality changes (e.g., the addition of subscription forms). The current version is always available on this page.
